Lawn Maintenance
We not only mow and trim your property on a weekly basis; we actually manicure your landscape. Our professional crew maintains our business philosophy and will treat your property as if it were their own. Our best advertising comes from the customers we service.
Our landscape maintenance services include:
• Weekly Lawn Care & Maintenance
We mow and manicure your lawn to the highest standards, and adjust the cutting frequency according to the season and the rate of lawn growth. We edge your lawn, taking care to remove the cut grass to avoid the buildup of thatch. Our skilled professionals carefully trim all lawn edges and clean out all flower beds. We make sure that no lawn debris ends up where it should not and blow the entire area before we leave. You wouldn't even know that we had been there, except for the fact that your lawn will look exceptional!
• Fertilization, Weed Control, & Pre-Emergence Crabgrass Control
We will apply complete fertilizer, weed killer, and pre-emergence crabgrass killer to your lawn. Lawn areas shall receive additional applications of fertilizer and weed control during the season. Andrews Landscaping does not apply unnecessary chemicals to your lawn. Chemical applications will only be used when needed. A fertilizer program that promotes a healthy and naturally disease resistant lawn will be developed to meet your lawns specific needs. Andrews Landscaping is fully licensed to use the chemicals your lawn needs and always uses them with your family's safety in mind. Some common chemical applications used are:
• Turf Fertilization
• Weed Control
• Insecticides
• Tick Control
• Lime (based on ph testing)
• Spring & Fall Cleanups
Spring Clean-up will allow your landscape to start the season with a freshened look. This service will include a general clean-up, re-edging of landscape and beds, and an addition of mulch and stones where needed. Fall Clean-up will remove leaves on your property. An important step in your overall lawn maintenance program. Leaves that are allowed to stay on the lawn will smother lawn growth. In larger areas, they will provide a place for small animals to nest. We’ll clean all lawn areas, planting beds, and stone beds of leaves, papers and other debris, and properly dispose of it. The spring cleanup shall be completed before April 30. The fall cleanup shall be completed when the majority of leaves have fallen.
• Shrub Trimming & Shaping
• Spraying of Trees and Shrubbery
All plant material shall be checked periodically during the season for insects, diseases, or pests that are or would become injurious to the plant and treatment will be applied as necessary on a per application basis.
• Mulching
Mulch, which improves the aesthetics of your landscape, should be considered in your landscape design. Mulch reduces weed build-up, while maintaining soil moisture.
• Core Aeration
Relieves compacted soil and allows roots to grow deep into the ground. Also permitting nutrients, air and water to reach the soil and root system.
• Plant Uprooting and Replanting
• Thatching
Removes the excess thatch in the lawn. Thatching is essential to a healthy lawn. Excess thatch promotes disease and prevents nutrients from reaching the surface.
• Sod Installation
Provides an instantly beautiful lawn but can only be used where watering is available.
